Crazy Faith Obcessed Weirdo Rant

Face it, Faith is losing to technology and science. But that must make some faith-crazy people a little mad... So what do they do? Try to TELL YOU WHAT TO DO. Why? BECAUSE YOU'LL BURN IN HELL.
Lets get my story straight before we get offended. I really don't like faith much. I believe in whatever the heck I want to believe and it doesn't include Jesus or Moses or even Buddha. My policy on religion is: keep it to yourself. Telling me what to believe or telling me something is wrong or bad because of your religion is a mark against you in my book. But if you like it and don't speak about it, good for you. I support you in whatever will make you happy. So did you get that? Keep it to yourself, I don't hate people of certain religions, I hate people to try to force their religion on me.
Moving on, certain people try to force their faith on me, and that just gets me angry. Here are some examples:

  • The Wii being a "Portal to Porn" is just stupid. Thank you for advising me that I can access pr0n on the Internet, because I didn't know it existed before...
  • The Crazy College Campus Guy is really a classic. He goes to colleges just to basically get punched right back in the face by the students. Check him out in action.
Now heed my advice and stop making people hate you for forcing it on them. If they want to believe what you do, they will!

Civil War 7

Before you read Civil War, which is a 7-part comic book put out by Marvel, you need to know only one thing: Captain America is the most retarded superhero ever. If you think that's harsh, then you have not read Civil War 7, the last issue (supposedly) in the story.
The story starts when a bunch of stupid superheroes filming a reality TV show run into a battle with some villains that are a little above their skill. The battle leads to a giant explosion, destroying half a town. The people of America go into a panic and are turning their backs on the superheroes that protect them. Tony Stark, better known as Iron Man, proposes a registration of all superheroes, making them agents of SHIELD, the organization that protects the world from unordinary threats. So Captain America, or should I say Captain Retard Face, starts a resistance against it, tearing the superheroes in two.
Sounds good right? It was...
But anyway, if you see Captain America around here, tell him I am going to punch his face into the sidewalk!

Standardized Testing - For The Lose

Tomorrow I take the FCAT. If you don;t live in Florida, its the same as an MCAT or the SAT's, except stupider. I blow past this test with good marks, so I don't care about it. But this test governs EVERYTHING in your school life. Kindergarten and 1st graders are being tested and compared, is that sick? Everything is made around this test, including schedules and teaching. This test makes teachers teach us how to write 5-paragraph essays and find the main idea of a passage, but when will we need that in life?
So wish me luck, tomorrow I take it. Hopefully, I don't have to pee.

The Number 23

I ask you this, How can so many critics be so wrong? The new movie starring Jim Carrey, The Number 23, was a great movie and got horrible reviews. The movie centers around the fact that many famous dates, people and numbers are all somehow related to 23. It, as well, shows how it can make a person mad. Its half horror, half thriller with some mystery sprinkled on top. Sure! But the movie, for the most part, wasn't a scary movie. If you are heading to the theatre imagining Jim Carrey going running and limboing around killing hobos, then you are mistaken.
I'm telling you right now, the movie was GOOD. Critics have given the movie 2 robots of 5 and 3 out of 10's and I almost fell for it, but the movie was spectacular. Jim Carrey was just that great, especially becuase some parts in the movie can relate to parts of Liar Liar, one of his funniest classic movies. If you like movies like The Secret Window, It's a no-brainer to see this film. And any Jim Carrey fans (*raises hand*) will love it too, he's amazing whether its a serious movie or a funny one.

I give The Number 23 a...
9.5/10 OR 21.85/23

Waiting For Failure

As you may realize, I am rooting for the Wii in the next-gen(or should I say current-gen) race. The other two systems are dandy and all but I remember back in 2005 when I heard how expensive the Xbox 360 was. Little did I know, it would get worse. The PS3, priced at $600 for the only version of the system that should have been made, is too expensive for most people to afford.
With this expensive step in gaming, the PS3 has made gamers cough up a lot of dough to get their hands on one. So most of us already know this, correct? What's the point? Well if Sony can make you buy a $600 console, they may start making you pay more for everything else... Want games to stay at $50? Want anything free? Want the PS4 to be $6,000? I suggest giving Sony a message by dropping their sales.
No, I do not HATE the PS3, I would actually love to get my hands on one, but not while their $600. To actually get some games and more controllers, you'd be spending at least $750 - $900. That shouldn't happen... I dont want 2013 to roll around and have to buy a system for $1000 or more.
You see, when a company realizes they can overcharge, they will continue to overcharge.

Heroes - The Greatest Show On Primetime?

Are you a fan of comics? Although it seems many will say no, you don't need to be for the show Heroes, on Monday's at 9pm on NBC. The show captures you after one or two episodes and is, in my opinion, the greatest show on primetime television these days.
The show follows many individuals who have a special genetic code that gives them "Super Powers." However cheesy that seems, the swiss ends there. There are no costumes or nicknames like X-men or anything. These are real people with amazing abilities trying to find their place in the world, while also trying to save New York or even the world.
Each character has their own unique power, or a couple of them, and you never know when a new character with a new power will show up... or be killed.
I have watched the show since it's first episode and it has made mondays good days.
So if you haven't been watching, I suggest you get on that! Now there is a bit of catching up to do if you really want to know about everything from the beginning. I recommend you watch ALL the episodes at NBC's Website. The website even has last night's amazing episode (which I think was the best yet) in full legnth. So get watching, you have 16 of them to watch!

Brawl Needs Brawlers

If in fact all the characters from Super Smash Bros. Melee do make it into the new Brawl, who else will make it in? Yes, My post today tells you who I THINK should be added, besides the new characters that have already been announced.

  1. Waluigi - Luigi's opposite deserves a spot just as Wario does! Waluigi could use comedic moves like pulling out bombs and making funny faces.
  2. Baby Mario & Baby Luigi - Featured in more than one game, these tiny tots could be paired like the ice climbers or come separately. Baby Mario has been known to wear a cape and show amazing skill with commanding Yoshi's. Baby Luigi has great skill with mallets and may have a biting problem. These characters sure would be a great time.
  3. Diddy Kong - Nobody else from the Donkey Kong games is in SSB so I think Diddy would make an awesome character, complete with peanut pop-guns!
  4. Machoke - We have to get some new Pokemon and Machoke would be a cool character to play as. You can use all his fighting techniques and stomp your enemies!
  5. Midna - Another Zelda character couldn't hurt and Midna is a kick-@$$ one. Mental powers + Teleporting = OWNAGE.
  6. Bomberman - Must I go further?
  7. Goron - Playing as one of these hulking rock creatures would be a fun time. They would be like a mixture of Bowser and Jigglypuff.
  8. Mudkip - We Need Some Water in Brawl, and Mudkip can deliver! His cuteness will catch you off guard for his tidal wave! ahhhh!
  9. Zora - More water needed! Seriously, with the speed of one plus their spear, this character could be swift and deadly.
  10. Tom Nook - Because everyone needs a good laugh.

Where Has Kirby Been?

Kirby has been missing on consoles... His greatest game according to most fans, Kirby and the Crystal Shards, was the last truly great Kirby console game. What has Kirby been up to since the old Nintendo 64? Well he was in Super Smash Bros, but so is everyone else from Nintendo. Well, he had Kirby AirRide... I'm not even sure if that game even counts as a kirby game. Sure you play as him, but it was a racing game!
Nintendo made some dumb moves considering that his game for the 64 was so GOOD! Combining forms was a brilliant idea. Kirby has only had good games on the Gameboy Advance & Nintendo DS since then.
So Kirby has just been bobbling around out there for the Gamecube's existence. But now that it's Wii time, will Kirby actually make an appearance in his own game? I sure hope so, becuase I'm starting to miss the giant ball of pink fluff!

Europe Only Games...

I have been seeing games that are exclusively for Europe around lately, I live in the US, and I don't really get why that is. North America speaks mostly 3 languages, English, Spanish, and French. Europe speaks all 3 of those languages, along with many more. So how hard is it to just send it over here? Game companies really don't have any excuse why they don;t send it here, unless they really hate the US or something.
But it is a truly different story when it a North American game going to Europe. WE need (maybe) 3 languages. They might only make it in English, and not the other 2. Europe has many languages! So it would be very difficult to translate. I really do hope all the Europeans can get our games, or at least the good ones, but its much harder.
So I propose a deal! Why don't we exchange continent exclusive titles? We'll both win!

Nintendo - Trying Not To Let Down, But Perk Up!

Last night I got an email from Nintendo telling me there is a new Wii Channel for a surprise update! The "everybody votes" channel has been launched!
All the covering up, and mystery going on with the new wii features and games seems to lie around one very basic idea. No let downs. I think channels and other updates will pop up whenever they want to keep people interested, without disappointing them if they announced a channel that is canceled or gets pushed back.
Also, living up to promises in the gaming industry is hard. With Zelda - Twilight Princess they learned a valuable lesson - Announcing games and their releases too early leads to downfall and disappointed fans. I mean they let many people down, delivering it a year late. So thats why not too much Super Smash or Mario Galaxy info is being let out. Imagine if they announced that those games would be out at launch, what would fans think now?
Nintendo's strategy makes sense in many ways. Even though you want to know as much as you can becuase you are excited, you have to realize that knowing too much about games before they are even anywhere near being released gives you a very different perception of the game. If they were to release info about Rayman - Raving Rabbids too early, they might say that it is just like the old Rayman games. And 6 months later when you get this game in your hands and it is just mini-games, what would your reaction be?

In short, Nintendo doesn't want to disappoint, they want the customer to be happy!

Elebits - Frustrating Fun

I never thought I'd be playing Elebits again. I got the game for the holidays and played it once. Lets face it, it can't win a fight against Zelda or Rayman. But, I had only played through the 3rd stage. Yeah, it was that boring. But then again, I played the game at 3:00 in the morning... That may have affected my gaming skills a little. The game starts out pretty repetitive and it seems like your in for a horrible game. But, after the 5th stage, the game starts adding new challenges such as noise, breakable items, and new types of elebits.
The premise is simple but pretty creative. Its like a giant game of hide and seek with some twists thrown in. The character's world doesn't make their own electricity. They rely on theses small creatures called Elebits (wasn't Expecting that, were ya!) to power all their electric products. But a thunderstorm hits and makes the creatures run away, act weird, and hide. Your parents, being the crazy scientists that they are (elebits as their specialty, of course) run out of the house to their lab to figure out whats wrong. You are like a red-headed step-child, meaning that they leave you home alone and dont really care. I mean, you must be like 8 and they leave you alone with no electricity and crazy creatures running around the town. Good parenting...
Anyway, you grab your dad's capture gun. The gun is like a mixture of a vacuum for elebits and Gordon Freeman's Gravity Gun. With it you can capture the little electric critters to power your stuff, which just leads you to find more nasty guys! You can pick up everything depending on how high your capture gun level is (the higher the heavier).I'm actually quite impressed with the game but the only thing that frustrates me a little is the fact that at the beginning of each stage you have to start with a level 1 capture gun. That means that your gun can pick up some daisies, but not anything you want to pick up...
So its a constant collect, power up, search, collect, power up, search... Which wasnt so cool with em for the first couple levels. But it persuaded me the second the 1st BOSS BATTLE began. Yeah thats right, there are hugely mutated Elebits that require a butt-whooping. They never really explained it, but your gun can now hurt things too. I wonder if it can blend smoothies... Well the game started getting good and I was totally pulled in. If it weren't for me having to do some work and post this blog here, I'd still be slaying the cute elebit scum! Even though I haven't completed the game, this Wii hidden treasure will most likely keep me interested. I can't wait for the next boss fight!
So if you have some patience and love to smash the crud out of everything in your house, This is your game. And remember, PLAY PAST THE FIRST 4 STAGES!

God Of War II

On March 13th, God Of War II will be coming out for the PlayStation 2. I was a huge fan of the first. Although I'm not a gory or perverted guy, the game was just a work of art that can't be ignored. I'm sure Jaffe has made the sequel just as good, or even better! I really Can wait!

Late last night I finished up our move from catch-free.com to 110mb.com so our website is now on the new host. All the news and comments made it but some member accounts did not. So they may have to re-register. Anyway, Now we can get back to buisness and I can work on other things.

Let The Brainstorming Begin!

The Team is now brainstorming about their projects. I wonder what they will decide on? Team Noodle, led by SupernaviX seems to be leaning towards a Space Shooter, and even though, in my eyes, the genre has been overused. Team Nova seems to have a pretty neutral position, but they may go after Natis's Monster Idea. The Vikings may even make an appearance. Who knows...

Look A Little Nicer?

I made some improvements on the blog. Some may be able to see them, but some might think it looks exactly the same. Also, I added a different video from We are Scientists, a great band I love. There are now links, and more videos int he vault too. So I hope the changes make this blog even cooler than its previous coolness(which was very high). Hasta La Vista!

Website Switcheroo

I have really got a huge chunk of the site uploaded to the new host and it seems it could be done earlier than I thought. If you see problems with the old website, its becuase Im extracting the code and comparing and all that good web design stuff. Be patient! Also, the new site will have some cool features I thought I'd put in. I'll keep you updated on the switch as much as possible.

110MB Has More Than 110MB...

We are now in the middle of switching hosts for the Dark Nemesis Studios Website. We are going to 110MB.com which has so many things that are awesome. They give 2000 MB of room for the site! That's a huge step up from 400MB. Also, they add cool features all the time and they actually answer your emails. The transfer to the new host may not be done until a couple weeks from now, but its for the best.

Huge_Stinker @ DNS

We have another new member named huge_stinker. Although his name is pretty funny, he gets down to buisness with his coding! So welcome the freshest of meat that I will probably call HS cause Im too lazy to spell everyone's name out!

Massively Many Of-them

In my Spanish 2 class today, I had an interesting conversation with some total strangers. MMO's were the subject and Finding a good one was what we talked about. Here are some games we spoke of and why we like/dislike them:

  1. World Of Warcraft - Pure fun, Use all your moves, and do funny things with your friends. The bad thing is, its a monthly fee.
  2. Guild Wars - A game that took up my whole 2005 summer. A game that now (annoyingly) takes up all of my friends' time. It requires a lot of strategy with the level cap at 20! You can only have 8 skills out at once too. It offers no extra fun stuff like Houses, raids, or flying. The members are pretty cruel and you wont go more than 2 minutes without hearing someone called a n00b. But it doesn't require a subscription, just pay the $50. But then again, there are already expansions, each costing $50 themselves. In my view, its a hole in the pocket for much less fun than other games supply you.
  3. Maplestory - Totally free. You can choose to pay for special items and stuff, but you don't really have to at all. It us 2D which may be a turn-off for some and the opposite for others. It looks very Manga Chibi-ish and the members are nice and helpful! I like this game and do play ti sometimes but the downside is that there isn't much to do really and its a little hard to get started...
  4. Runscape - Free but Crap...
  5. Dungeons and Dragons Online - pretty cool but lacks some customization. It requires you to pay monthly. graphics are amazing.
  6. City of Heroes - Everyone likes this game (you can fly!) except for people who are convincing others to buy Guild Wars (MATT!). I would love to make my own super hero (and now I can be a villian too). but you have to pay monthly.
So if you are looking for the ultimate MMO, THERE ISNT ONE. All of the games have pros and cons, but its your decision which one offers more fun.

I REALLY Hate Catch-Free...

I have applied for an account on a more reliable site, but they haven't said anything in 2 days... But I want to move our website. The thing that sucks is, THERE ARE ABOUT A ZILLION FILES TO MOVE. Yeah... If anyone knows any other good website hosts please point me in their direction.
